MSYAP participants receive a minimum of 5 master classes per year. MSYAP prep participants receive 1 master classes per year. All MSYAP participants perform for all Master Class Professors.

There are nine Performance Classes per year (in performance classes, students learn to listen and evaluate their and others' performances) and a minimum of four Showcase concerts per year in various South Orange County venues.

Nine hours of repertoire rehearsals with a collaborative pianist are included in the program.

All Performance and Master Classes are recorded and archived for viewing at the online Musishare Forum, which is a closed forum.
